Olive is a collaborative travel planning application that allows users to:

  • Store bookings, reservations, and travel documents

  • Use AI-powered trip planning assistance

3. User Accounts

To use certain features of the App, you must create an account. You agree to:

  • Maintain the security of your account credentials
  • Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access
  • Be responsible for all activities under your account

3.2 Account Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms or engage in harmful behavior.

4. User Content

You retain ownership of content you create, upload, or share through the App ("User Content"). By sharing User Content, you grant Olive a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, display, and distribute your content solely for operating the service.

4.2 Content Guidelines

You agree not to upload or share content that:

  • Is illegal, harmful, or offensive
  • Infringes on intellectual property rights
  • Contains malware or harmful code
  • Violates the privacy of others
  • Is spam or misleading

4.3 Content Removal

We reserve the right to remove any User Content that violates these Terms without prior notice.

5. Collaborative Features

5.1 Trip Sharing

When you invite others to collaborate on a trip, they will have access to view and edit trip details based on their assigned role (owner, editor, or viewer).

5.2 Responsibility

You are responsible for the people you invite to your trips. Trip owners can remove members at any time.

6. AI Features (Oli)

6.1 AI-Generated Content

Oli, our AI travel assistant, provides suggestions and recommendations. These are for informational purposes only and should not be considered professional travel advice.

6.2 Accuracy

While we strive for accuracy, AI-generated recommendations may contain errors. Always verify important travel details (bookings, hours, prices) with official sources.

6.3 Limitations

Oli cannot make actual bookings or reservations on your behalf. Any booking links provided are to third-party services.

7. Third-Party Services

The App may integrate with third-party services (Google Maps, weather providers, etc.). Your use of these services is subject to their respective terms and privacy policies. Olive is not responsible for third-party service availability or accuracy.

8. Intellectual Property

8.1 Our Property

The App, including its design, features, and content (excluding User Content), is owned by Olive and protected by intellectual property laws.

8.2 Restrictions

You may not:

  • Copy, modify, or distribute the App
  • Reverse engineer or decompile the App
  • Use the App for commercial purposes without permission
  • Remove any copyright or proprietary notices

9. Disclaimers

9.1 "As Is" Service

The App is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee that the App will be error-free or uninterrupted.

9.2 Travel Decisions

Olive is a planning tool. We are not responsible for any travel decisions you make based on information in the App. Always verify travel requirements, safety advisories, and booking details independently.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Olive shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the App.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold Olive harmless from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the App or violation of these Terms.

12. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes through the App or via email. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States, without regard to conflict of law principles.
